dear grandma

In this collection of clothing I used materials and techniques characteristic for the historically troubled region of Moravian Sudetenland where my grandmother Berta Pospíšilová lived. I used exclusively the fabrics, buttons and zippers found in the attic of my grandmother’s house. I adopted her sewing techniques and her ’zigzag embroidery’ style. This project pays tribute to my grandmother and the tradition which I have inherited.
